The assessment for the NPQML programme involves running an improvement project in a team which lasts at least two terms. This project must be aimed at improving pupil progress and the capability of your team.

During your programme you will build a portfolio demonstrating how your project meets the assessment criteria. This will be submitted at the end of your programme. Our support and guidance will help you achieve this.

Once submitted, your work will be assessed against the DfE criteria for the award of your NPQML.

We are currently exploring a flexible and credit based approach to developing your study into a recognised award from Newcastle University. This is under review but we will have further information in September 2017.

"Very useful. Good practical tasks and strategies. Good discussions and questioning to get us to think with more depth of the issues we can face."
