I enjoyed the range of activities as well as working with most people in the room at different times.
Initially there are 3 levels:
Level 1 - leading to the National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership
Level 2 - leading to the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership
Level 3 - leading to the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH)
Each level will have a number of compulsory taught modules and a variety of optional modules to suit each individual's needs and interests. These will use high quality National College for Teaching and Leadership materials based on the latest research. NCTL's online resources will be available to participants. Work is ongoing to enable accreditation of some of this work at Masters' level.
The programmes will be facilitated by a combination of serving school leaders at the different levels and experienced National College facilitators. Each day of training will be delivered at different venues across the region.
Our partnership embraces outstanding schools at all levels of compulsory education across the whole region.
The courses we offer have been developed by leaders in our teaching school alliances, so they embody the experience and best practice established by real leaders in real school leadership roles.
We pride ourselves on the fact that our programmes are delivered in local schools by serving school and system leaders.
NETSP courses are structured to make your participation and qualification as easy as possible to minimise time out from the classroom and maximise workplace learning, reading, coaching and online learning. Our modules are streamlined and highly focused in two five-hour sessions. Our training is delivered in locations throughout the region, and we offer a unique level of in-school coaching.
NPQH applications are through the National College website. There will only be one application round each year. The next round will be published here once it is confirmed.
NETSP is proud to be rated GOLD in leadership and management, and quality of provision by National College for Teaching and Leadership.
